Tobago is located in the south of the Caribbean chain, just offshore from Venezuela and offers adventurous and fun diving on both its Caribbean and Atlantic coast with its sheltered bays and ripping currents. Speyside is great for Pelagic such as Blacktip Sharks and large Tarpon as well as offering strong drift diving, which adds to the thrill. The diving in Charlotteville is the most visited and include the St Giles islands, with London Bridge on of its top dive sites with its strong and challenging currents. Sisters Reef on the Caribbean side can be a good place to see hammerhead sharks, in shallow water.
Crown Point on the islands south west also has some great diving with 18 dive sites to choose from, with Flying reef being the diving highlight. The rainy season in Tobago effects diving here due to the visibility sapping Orinoco current that flows from South America.
