Tanjong Jara Resort
Tanjong Jara Resort is a sanctuary of luxury and well-being steeped in age-old Malay traditions. Designed to reflect the elegance and grandeur of 17th century Malay palaces, the resort is fronted by a stretch of golden sand and vibrant turquoise waters. Rooms & Accommodation
All rooms have air-conditioning, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, TV and safe in the room:
- Anjung Suite (1 one bedroom suite) Located over the river waters looking out into the South China Sea. As well as a king-sized bed and sunken bath, the suite has a spacious living and dining hall with a bar and powder room.
- Anjung (10 Single Storey Beach Room) Each Anjung has a king-sized bed and additional sofa bed. A sunken outdoor bath and indoor shower. Canopied terrace extends onto the gardens and beach. All have sea views.
- Serambi (44 Ground Floor Room) These are contained within double storey units. Each room has a partially covered terrace overlooking the gardens, some with sea view. A king-sized bed with en suite bathroom and separate shower and dressing area.
- Bumbung (44 First Floor Room) Identical to Serambi, but does not have a private terrace. All have views of the gardens and some with views of the sea.

Spa Village
The award-winning Spa Village has seven pavilions specialising in traditional Malay treatments. Inspired by healing therapies passed down over generations, the centre features programmes for relaxation and stress relief.
Dining
Di Atas Sungei: Located above a river that flows into the South China Sea. A unique concept with no menu, guests are guided by the resort's chefs who take into account guest's personal preferences and produce local cuisine using the freshest produce.
Teratai Terrace: Situated besides the resort's resorts free-form pool looking across to the South China Sea. Guests can enjoy light lunches, private dining experiences, cocktails and live gamelan music.
Nelayan: Speciality seafood restaurant located by the ocean with a relaxed atmosphere. A variety of Asian and Western light meals are served for lunch and Western cuisine for dinner.
Private Dining Experiences: Speak with the resort to arrange a variety of private dining experiences; enjoy Dinner on the Beach, a delectable five-course set dinner served alfresco amidst glowing hurricane lanterns looking out to sea, Private Dining at Teratai Terace by the resort’s free-form pool or simply relax in your room and indulge in the resort’s in-room dining menu.
