The town of Dahab lies on the west coast of Sinai and offers a fantastic choice of cave, boat and shore diving. The diving highlight in Dahab has to be the famous Blue Hole, with its 80m deep cavern, or the amazing underwater rock face of The Canyon, which offers some of the best diving in the Red Sea. Other aspects of the diving here in Dahab is the excellent technical, advanced and shore diving conditions that are available all year round.

Location: Le Meridien Dahab.
House reef: Yes. An ideal place for a first dive.
Diving Offered: Shore diving, boat diving, camel safaris, wreck safaris and boat safaris. As well as the full range of PADI courses up to IDC staff instructor.
Number of Dive sites: 20.
Distance to dive sites: 5 – 90 minutes on camel for Ras Abu Galum.
Top Dives: Eel Garden, the Napoleon Reef, Canyon and Blue Hole.
High season: July to December.
Best time to dive: Diving in Dahab is great all year.
Nitrox Diving: Yes, and courses for those not certified already.
Safaris: Yes, camel safaris, boat safaris and wreck safaris to the SS Thistlegorm.
Equipment rental: Full rental kit is 20 Euro per day.
Snorkelling: Yes. Trips are run 3 times a day to Napoleon Reef and the Southern dive sites. 20 Euro per person, including mask snorkel and fins. Poseidon also offer 3 hour trips to the Blue Hole. 25 Euro per person, including mask snorkel and fins and guide.
