Mombassa has been the most popular diving destination in Kenya for many years with most of its reefs in good condition and an abundance of marine life including turtles, whitetip reef sharks, whale sharks and mantas. There are many dive sites to choose from in Mombassa ranging from sheer walls running with currents to reef diving and even some wreck dives. The Pinnacles is regarded as Kenya’s premier dive site but is only suitable for advanced divers as depths range from 22m down to 40m with extremely strong currents running over the dive site.
