Day 1
Arrive Sydney and stay 3 nights at the Pensione Hotel in the heart of Sydney. Afternoon at leisure – why not visit the Opera House and take a stroll by the harbour.

Day 2
Day at leisure – why not climb the Harbour Bridge? Its takes about 3 hours and can be booked any time of day including sunrise, sunset and at night, an incredible experience.

Day 3
Day at leisure – why not get down to Bondi Beach and take in the amazing scenery or try some surfing?

Day 4
Take an afternoon flight from Sydney to Cairns to join your Mike Ball Spoilsport liveaboard for 7 nights of incredible diving.

Day 4 – 10
All meals, snacks, soft drinks & wine with your evening meal are included. This 7 night, 450 mile Coral Sea Safari includes some of the best dive sites on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea featuring. Diving highlights include:

Spectacular first dive at Challenger Bay.
Diver size fish at the Cod Hole.
Plummeting Coral Sea wall dives in gin clear water.
Exciting shark action in the Coral Sea.
Schooling trevally and barracuda in the Coral Sea.

Day 11
Disembark from the Spolisport liveaboard and transfer to Cairns airport for your return flight home or continue your Australian adventure.

Coral Sea Safari

• Duration: 7 nights

All diving is conducted 100 miles north of Cooktown at the sites most likely to encounter big fish action, Reef Sharks, Whale Sharks, Hammerheads, Manta Rays and Minke Whale (June/July). The first underwater experience at the world famous Cod Hole with it's diver size fish - one of the Great Barrier Reefs most amazing phenomenons. Overnight you venture out to the crystal clear waters and plummeting walls in the Coral Sea where you get the oppurtunity to witness exciting shark feeds. The second part of your 7 night expedition is within the sheltered waters of the Great Barrier Reef where you will see incredible concentrations of pristine corals, colourful marine life and rare critters.

Fly Dive Coral Sea

Begin your adventure by swimming with diver size fish at the Cod Hole. Overnight you venture 75 miles beyond the Great Barrier Reef to the crustal clear waters and plummeting walls in the Coral Sea - the highlights being a spectacular big fish and shark dive. Guests on Spoilsport enjoy a luxurious yacht atmosphereand the attentitive crew off by a spectacular low-level reef flight from Lizard island to Cairns.

Fly Dive Cod Hole

The 3 night fly/dive Cod Hole expedition begins with an incredible 250 kilometre low levelreef flights gliding over your dive sites along the outer Great Barrier Reef to Lizard Island. You first dive with the large human size fish at the Cod Hole before exploring the incredible Ribbon Reef sites north of Cooktown. Here you can see the best concentrations of pristine coral, colourful marine life and even Minke Whale ecnounters in June / July.

Minke Whale Expedition

Divers have a choice of 3, 4 and 7 night expeditions within the Great Barrier Reef in June and July. This trip is suitable for divers of all levels with days completely dedicated to finding and snorkelling or diving with Minke Whales. These expeditions have been in operation since 1996 and Mike Ball Dive Expeditions have evolved a diving protocol that has minimal impact on the whales and allows them to approach divers within their own comfort zone.

Great White Shark Expedition

Travel to southern Australia and dive the famous Neptune Islands to experience the worlds most famous, feared and spectacular shark - the Great White. The optional 3-5 day itineraries are designed to allow you time to get out to the shark viewing stations and back, while also allowing for finding productive spells of weather and reliable shark action. This agenda gives passengers a more realistic chance of enjoying at least one extraordinary magical day when all the conditions favourably come together.
